Gasoline prices have decreased slightly this past week, AAA said.

Gasoline prices in Palm Beach County and Florida have dropped in the last week, with the average for regular decreasing by a penny, AAA said.

Monday, Palm Beach County’s average stood at $2.27 a gallon, down from $2.28 a week ago, while the state’s average decreased to $2.14 from $2.15, according to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report.

Gas prices in Florida were largely unaffected by the  Colonial Pipeline Line #1 outage, because the state doesn’t rely on the pipeline for fuel deliveries. Florida’s gasoline arrives on ships from refineries in Texas, Mississippi, AAA said.

The outage affected Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Service has been restored.
