It’s part of $156 million in grants nationally designed to help hire about 1,600 new dentists, assistants and others to treat nearly 800,000 new patients.

“The funding we are awarding will reduce barriers to quality dental care for hundreds of thousands of Americans by bringing new oral health providers to health centers across the country,” U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell said in a statement.
